Canned luncheon meat expert: Shengjia Food

On September 5, the Henan Meat Association conducted a research visit to Henan Shengjia Food Co., Ltd., where they were warmly received by Mr. Wang Shengrui, the company's Deputy General Manager.

Shengjia Food is a downstream extension enterprise of Yucheng County Shengyuan Food Co., Ltd. Established in 2021 with a total investment of 500 million yuan, it covers a construction area of 92,000 square meters. It is a large-scale modern food production enterprise specializing in the manufacturing of canned luncheon meat made from pork, beef, and chicken.

Shengjia Food employs a fully automated production line for canned luncheon meat. From raw material input to finished product packaging, every step is precisely controlled by intelligent equipment with minimal manual intervention. Real-time data collection and analysis are implemented throughout the process, and each can undergoes more than 30 quality inspection procedures to ensure product safety.

During the subsequent tour of the pork canned production workshop, Deputy General Manager Wang Shengrui provided a detailed introduction to the key functions and advantages of each segment of the production line. Aside from about twenty workers in the initial fresh meat section who are responsible for selecting and trimming lean meat, subsequent processes—including low-temperature chopping and mixing, marinating, canning, high-temperature sterilization, X-ray inspection, and packaging—are highly automated, leveraging advanced sensor technology and automated control systems.

Relying on its own front-end live pig slaughtering facilities, Shengjia ensures fresh, stable, and high-quality meat supply. The automated and digital production process not only guarantees consistent and safe food quality but also significantly enhances production efficiency. Currently, Shengjia’s canned products are not only well-received in the domestic market but are also exported to Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, and Africa, earning consistent recognition from consumers.

 

Through the site visit and discussions, Mr. Liu Chengxin, President of the Association, expressed full affirmation of Shengyuan Food’s integrated chain from slaughtering to deep processing, as well as Shengjia Food’s choice to focus on canned meat products and adopt advanced digital and intelligent production equipment. He noted that this provides a successful model for the transformation and upgrading of more small and medium-sized meat slaughtering enterprises in the province. President Liu hopes that Shengjia Food will remain true to its original aspirations, continue to innovate, and strive to grow stronger in the field of deep meat processing, bringing more safe, delicious, and healthy meat products to global consumers.
